Dr Deepak Goyal presented the short term results of a newly invented technique of our institute at 12th World Congress of ‘International Cartilage Repair Society’, Chicago, USA. The study was about those cases that has simultaneous osteochondral fracture (a small bony fragment) from patella in addition to patella dislocation. We used advantages of "The Superficial Quad Technique" to treat both the conditions simultaneously and invented the single stage surgery. The short term results presented at the world congress was widely appreciated.

The conditions occurs mainly in young adolescents. This single stage technique offered fast recovery, resolution of dual problem and early return to active life. All the cases operated by us were back to their active life in less than 3 months time.

Now, we look forward to mid-term results of the same procedure.
