SO Case Study # 3.

All Knee Pains are NOT Osteoarthritis!

We are happy to present a case here that was diagnosed as osteoarthritis multiple times. The diagnosis was probably made looking at the age and weight of the patient and was not based on history and clinical examination.

A wrong diagnosis lead to advise of knee Replacement Surgery that patient didn't agree. Obviously, the expalnation of osteoarthritis didn't go well with patient.

On proper clinical and radiologial examination, it turned out to be a simple menisus tear that could be treated well with a small keyhole surgery.

Obviously, all knee pains shouldn't be treated as Osteoarthritis.
